About

Boxin’ The Vox is a Dutch folkband comprising of David Plasmeijer and Anne-Lotte Paymans. Our music is influenced by Irish folk musicians like Luka Bloom, Christy Moore, Mary Black, Sinéad O’Connor, The Dubliners, The Fureys and The Pogues. 60/70 artists like Melanie, Simon & Garfunkel, Boudewijn de Groot and contemporary acts like The Cranberries, Dolores O’Riordan, Amy Macdonald and KT Tunstall.

Singing from the heart, two voices in harmony and with a natural enthusiasm for Irish music, Boxin’ the Vox will put a smile on everybody’s face. We have played on multiple Irish festivals in Holland and toured Ireland, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Normandy and Brittany in France.
