Lovers of Irish folk music can indulge themselves at Doornenburg Castle. On Sunday 11 October Boxin’ The Vox will play two shows in the great hall.
Anne-Lotte Paymans (vocals, guitar) and David Plasmeijer (vocals, lute, banjo) released their second album this year. The CD ‘Seven white horses’ which features 10 self-written folk songs was recorded in Studio Doornenburg less than 500 meters from the castle. This Sunday afternoon they will immerse you in the atmospheres of castles, cliffs and cosy pubs. And of course they will let you enjoy traditional Irish music by a.o. Mary Black and Christy Moorse and their own new songs. This promises to be a lot of fun!
Due to the reduced capacity as a result of the coronavirus measures, Boxin The Vox will play an extra show on Sunday 11 October! The first show on 16.30h is sold out, but there are still tickets available for the second show that will start at 19.00h. Click here for more information.
